Public Impact Dashboard

The numbers, in the open

A read-only view of the headline metrics from the stakeholder dashboard. Evaluation should be a by-product of normal operation, not a separate reporting exercise — so these are the same figures a government or donor partner sees, aggregated and de-identified.

Live programme figures

Reporting period:

48,250 kg
Kilograms of waste diverted

Logged, sorted and confirmed by a collector

3,500
Garments tracked

Followed from purchase through repair, resale or recovery

3,180
Active citizens

Logging waste at least once a month

Pending
Dustbins distributed

Colour-coded reusable bin and bag sets for households, schools and estates

16+ partnership proposals have been submitted and are awaiting partnership funding. Upon confirmation of funding, the Organisation will commission the production and distribution of 1,400+ partitioned, colour-segregated dustbin units within three months.

38
Partnerships procured

Institutions, NGOs, county bodies and fashion-sector partners under signed agreement

1,140
Volunteers joined

Took a place on a clean-up, school session or training day

12,600
Citizens educated

Reached through community training days, school sessions and campus campaigns

Figures are illustrative pilot targets, and the reporting window is set in the stakeholder dashboard. Once the platform is live, both the counters and the period they cover read directly from it.

Institutions
25 Kenyan institutions and their surrounding communities by end of 2026 / mid 2027
Youth reached
1,000+ youth reached directly and indirectly
Awareness campaigns
5+ awareness campaigns with measurable reach

Waste category analytics

What is actually in the bags

Diverted material split across the four colour categories. Recyclables lead by weight, but the number the team watches hardest is sorting accuracy — a reward paid on a badly sorted bag buys data nobody can trust.

How these are produced

Where the numbers come from

  • Every waste log, pickup confirmation and volunteer check-in is a timestamped record with a proof photo or a collector's confirmation behind it.
  • Events stream into a separate analytics layer, so heavy reporting queries never slow down the app in someone's hand.
  • CO₂-equivalent figures are modelled per diverted item and per upcycled garment, and the method is published in full in the impact report.
  • Anti-gaming controls — photo evidence, collector confirmation, geofencing, rate limits and anomaly detection — sit between an action and the number it produces.

Aggregated and de-identified

Government, donor and research reporting is served from aggregated, de-identified datasets by default. Regulators see totals and trends for their jurisdiction; they do not see individuals. Partners see only the programmes or zones they fund.

Figures are illustrative pilot targets, and the reporting window is set in the stakeholder dashboard. Once the platform is live, both the counters and the period they cover read directly from it.

Partners get more than this

The full stakeholder dashboard adds the real-time reporting map, collector management, marketplace oversight and PDF or CSV exports scoped to your county or funded programme.
